Level: It is necessary to have previous sewing experience on the sewing machine, such as threading the machine and sewing in a straight line. Why not try our Learn To Sew – Basics class if you would like to brush up on these skills.
Materials: Please provide leather or mock leather (light to medium weight) that measures 3-4 square feet (exact size 17″ (44cm) x 18″ (46cm)), 1/2 metre of lining fabric and interfacing. A 10″ standard zip, 5″ standard zip and coordinating or contrasting Gutermann Extra Strong Thread as well as Gutermann 100% Polyester Sew All Thread. We recommend that you bring along a leather needle for your sewing machine.
Please inform us in advance should you wish to use one of our sewing machines during the class.
