This course lived up to all expectations .Aneka was welcoming, knowledgable, and put across all information very clearly.
The fact that we all had different types of Overlocker led to different questions being asked which were often relevant at some point during the evening.
I thoroughly recommend the course .

Using an overlocker can be a daunting experience to a beginner. It was great to attend Aneka’s class and get guidance needed to help build my confidence. Aneka is very patient and full of enthusiasm to share her valued knowledge with others. I would recommend anyone wanting to learn or improve their sewing skills to attend one of her classes.

i have owned an overlocker for sometime and found my success varied greatly. I recently replaced it with a better model and still only had middling success which is why i wanted to join the class.
I was very pleased with the session as it answered many of my questions and now feel more confident in using the overlocker.
I would like to attend a more advanced class some time in the future as i know an overlocker can be used for more than finishing edges

I have had my overlocker for over a year, but only tinkered with it, as I had great difficulty in threading the machine.

The two hour course was brilliant!! It went very quickly, but I learnt so much in that space of time. I can now successfully thread my machine, set the tensions correctly and I also acquired some good technique’s on basic sewing, which is completely different to the standard sewing machine.

I would highly recommend this course, great venue and excellent tutor.

I am completely new to overlockers, and was really nervous about starting, having how difficult they are to thread! However, by the end of the evening, I could easily accomplish this, and had learned a fantastic amount about the basic use of the machine. The following day, I ran up a set of basic cushion covers for our dining chairs – so easy. The tuition was great – tailored to suit everyone in the class. Definitely to be recommended.
