Having admired the range of doorstops on show during my Learn to Sew Class, the next step was to make one myself. Had a lovely evening making my goose doorstop with Aneka and two other sewers. It was great to be able to put some of the techniques I had learnt into practise and also be able to ask Aneka questions about what I was doing. Have two other doorstop patterns as a result of the class and feeling inspired to continue sewing at home. Thank you Aneka.

Had a lovely evening making a goose doorstop. Aneka very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I have already done a lampshade class and that was excellent, made a gorgeous lampshade and did two more at home. I’m booked in for the roman blind class, can’t wait as I have always wanted to learn how to make these.

I love my doorstop! I did the bird in contrasting liberty print & it looks very good. It was a straightforward project although Victoria & Aneka were on hand throughout to take you through it. Can’t wait to make another. It was a lovely morning & suitable for a group of friends to do together for a birthday treat or a hen do (although then you’d have to make the cockrel)

This was such a fun class to do, really enjoyed every bit of it and yet again learnt lots of new skills. Aneka & Victoria are very talented & such good teachers.
Look forward to joining you in another class soon.
